Our Greatest Challenge Remains..."Never be Cynical with...."

Very often we fall trap to our own actions and project them unto others laying blame on them and appearing like it was all them and walking away smiling as if we accomplish something great. I have seen this repeated action in some people and most recently I experienced a day where I was insulted and brushed aside for the individual's own unrevealed purpose (s). I in turn, as any human, reacted in anger and did the fire back angry words perhaps assuming here or there but more so expressing my deep disgust at the overall reason for such an insulting remark and attack.

It is not worth it to dwell on others insults because if you are not careful they will turn it on you and blame you because of your own reactive stance. Your reaction becomes the center of focus and often seen as the cause of it all....you get blamed for being pigheaded! It is very difficult at times to control the anger you express at such initial insults and you later realize that you have fallen prey to a movement that you did not initiate nor invite. It is hard to try hard and yet succumb to it all, but still, God invites all of us to remember that our anger should not be a cause for us to sin or to cause anyone harm and to be ready to make amends when it all seem so useless so insignificant!

If it evokes ridicule and laughter then you know it was not intended; rather it represents the intense feeling of pain that emotes whenever the people whom you expect to be 'respectful' suddenly turn onto you as acid dashed in the face. Their intention (s) one should never assume but the expressions cannot go unheeded for it is so real, so intense.

Today I learn my lesson well; I knew that it is always wise and important to walk away when insulted and to be strong enough to be seen as a coward without fear or favor. For a moment I held unto what seem unimportant what seem irrelevant perhaps what was a misguided word even if it was communicated and so may be intentional. I have seen so many people live a listless life, yielding to such perceived attacks making mountains out of mold hills. It is that self same motivation that Christ says leads to murder; most times motivated by their own inner cravings and deprivations they react in a manner that becomes the source of their own demise.

I am vulnerable to such too and if not guarded and forgiving in my heart, I may end up being bitter, deprived, unloving, and cold. Still life is a journey, each day brings forth its own new challenges for us all to ponder on the marvelous yet intricate designs of God's take on us as individuals.

I am required to recognize that God designed some of us with very fragile hearts that wants to see no one suffer; others He made them have an unlimited capacity to experience suffering.
He loves us all and expects that we in our own unique way will find the time to respond to his call to be His own dear children birthing goodwill and love at all cost. Yes despite the falls and aches of life, He commissions us to go forth and be ready to live a full life knowing that real life requires those inner tests those promptings those headaches. We must however be ready to pick ourselves up after we yield to the baser parts of our being.

....After all what would life be like without those opportunities to be strong.......there would be no life at all......for life is our greatest of all challenges....they encounter us at a moments notice and very often we fail because we are so vulnerable and weak!

So the next time you decide to insult another think twice of what your real intentions are.....and if you do remember that it takes a real and strong person that learns to accept their responsibility to say whether in silence or in words "I am sorry" if they succumb to insulting another.

And for you who have been insulted, constantly remind yourself that He took upon Himself all insults for our sake and He did it with Love. Be silent and be Love like Him, learn never to react in the like manner for it tells on your character and exposes your intentions!

In the meantime life continues...as one writer say...never be cynical with Love ....for it is as perennial as grass!
