SINCE YOU HAVE READ BARONS" ATTACK ON THE PRIME MINISTER OF DOMINICA:

It is amazing how the so call prominent ones in our society raise their heads at opportune time to shout. Shout for what? Attention?

As a young man am I to remain poor so that the so call big men remain the only ones that have a portion of Dominica??

Please be mindful that it is very corrupt to accept any gift as a Minister IN EXCHANGE OF FAVOURS paid for by the Public Purse. Suddenly the giving and receiving of gifts has become a disgraceful or even corrupt thing in Dominica. As a Eucharistic nation we have always embraced such treasured acts of worship. We give and we share and we receive with humble and contrite hearts those favors granted us.

Such exchanges, acts of love, are perhaps to profound too simple for the likes of Frank Baron who possessed so much that offering him gifts appeared as a ridiculous exercise of a sacred act more so it may even appear to be an insult to him. Such insult is defined by the pride and haughtiness espoused by those as himself who had excess while the majority of the people scrambled and fought each other for the remnants.

The choice to use our gifts in whatever manner or fashion remains a tenet in our rights to property and free will. If the Dame gave gifts of land to the state I would like Mr. Baron to so indicate; I further question Mr. Baron's Claim of offers of Lands to the Dame or Mr. LeBlanc as gifts for which they either refused or accepted and gave to the State!

I say to you Mr. Baron and the likes of those who are so prone to listen to the voices of those who wish we the ordinary people never existed, I dare you to provide the facts of which favors the Hon. Prime Minister granted to anyone in exchange for what he has today!

Mr. Baron needs to tell us how he accumulated his own wealth; how the Dame Eugenia and many in the rich elite of Dominica attained their wealth. What has Mr. Baron offered to the People of Dominica? Who benefits from your long years of public service; from your own mouth you muttered that the Dame refused to pay you a salary, why? You had so much it could only be described as a rape of the Treasury so the Dame was compelled to do the Honorable thing!

I for one am not surprised that Baron invokes his opposing voice to E. O. LeBlanc whom they ensured did not attain any economic strength that is necessary to resist and fight against their continuous thrust against any young person seeking to improve his lot or attain the halls of political power in Dominica.

As a young man, I, like many others, struggled to gain an education financed by Bananas. Today persons as Baron never thought that the ordinary folks in the countryside of Dominica could be counted. We have transcended to frustrations of the past embraced a positive future and work tirelessly in the present to make Dominica a better place.

For me this is the ultimate corruption in Dominica, the unprecedented attempt to repeat our History by painting an unbelievable yet demeaning picture of the Hon. Prime Minister in the minds of the unsuspecting youth. Trying to use our own energies to destabilize us and to continue to reap the benefits of selling our sad stories, published, is very cheap Mr. Baron.

The hope is that we will loose once again the opportunity as a people to be all counted in our nation's building rather than to be silenced into oblivion as our once great E.O. LeBlanc did because of the actions of FRANKLYN BARON.

Dominicans Frank Baron did it once; he ensured that our generations only heard of E. O. Leblanc and never got the full extent of what he could have been for Dominica. So he wants to repeat history with the other Vieille Case, Prime Minister.

And the message is we shall not be fouled! Yes we have to defend our future, Frank Baron does not know nor does he care, he never cared for his own! My children future depends on who is power; I for one must sing for my supper; I cannot count on the likes of Baron to take care of my family and me. I am not ashamed of protecting what I know is good for myself, my family, and my country.

I am proud to be part of a country that has a Prime Minister in Roosevelt Skerrit a rich endowment that the likes of Baron frown on. I am proud and will always be proud of further knowing that the PM's life is as ordinary yet profound like each of us called to be! He rules with a clean heart, a clean mind, and a clean hand!

I believe this to be the Truth!

I beckon you to do likewise!

The alternative is: will Mr. Baron share his fortune with my children today; what has he done to ensure that I have a good job and can work for self and country? The only crime committed here as far as I know is that Mr. Baron speaks to sell his paper to draw attention to his personal enterprise as usual...he cares not and knows not anything about you and I except for the fact that his cheap shot at the Hon. PM will bring additional wealth to his already fat purse through his publication, the Chronicle.

I dare you Mr. Baron to take it all to the grave with you!
